🌞 PROJECT NO. 119 – DIABETES CAMP & VITAMIN D AWARENESS 🩺 Neighbourhood First | One Project Every Day 📅 Date: 11th October 2026 📍 Venue: D-Mart, Malad West 🤝 Twinning Project: Lions Club Bombay Borivili East & Lions Club Mumbai Ruby 🌍 District 3231 A3 💗 A HEALTHIER NEIGHBOURHOOD BEGINS WITH AWARENESS! On 11th October 2026, Lions Club Bombay Borivili East, in a spirit of service and fellowship with Lions Club Mumbai Ruby, organised a Diabetes Camp & Vitamin D Awareness Project at D-Mart, Malad West. In our busy lives, we often overlook the importance of preventive healthcare. Diabetes can silently affect our health, while Vitamin D plays an essential role in maintaining strong bones, muscle function and overall well-being. Through this initiative, our Lions aimed to encourage people to take a proactive approach to their health, understand the importance of diabetes screening, and learn why Vitamin D awareness matters. We served 51 people today. The camp brought healthcare awareness closer to the community, reminding everyone that a small step towards early detection and better health habits can make a meaningful difference. 🤝 The twinning partnership between our two clubs reflects the true spirit of Lions fellowship, teamwork and community service. 🏡 NEIGHBOURHOOD FIRST is more than a philosophy. It is a commitment to serve people where they live, work and gather. 💛 ONE PROJECT EVERY DAY - because every day gives us another opportunity to care, serve and create a healthier community. With pride and gratitude,
