🥛 PROJECT NO. 117 – BUTTERMILK DISTRIBUTION ### A Glass of Buttermilk, A Gesture of Care! On 9th October 2026, Lions Club of Bombay Borivili East, in a twinning initiative with Lions Club Mumbai Ruby, organized a refreshing Buttermilk Distribution Project at Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali West, Mumbai. Under our Neighbourhood First mission, Lions came together to serve 225 patients and their near and dear ones. In the midst of hospital visits, medical concerns and long waiting hours, a simple glass of buttermilk brought refreshment, comfort and a smile to many faces. Buttermilk is more than a traditional summer drink. It helps replenish fluids and provides a refreshing source of nourishment, especially during hot weather. For patients and their families, even a small act of kindness can make a difficult day a little easier. This project reminds us that service does not always require big budgets or grand gestures. Sometimes, a glass of buttermilk, offered with compassion, speaks louder than a thousand words. Through Neighbourhood First, we believe that meaningful change begins right where people need us most. Together, we continue to transform small acts of service into lasting human connections. 💛 Serve People. Spread Kindness. Strengthen Communities.
